HC 6.1 hotfix 8 + W2003 SP1 = No Remote MSDNS

HC 6.1 Hotfix 8 installed on web server and remote Microsoft DNS servers
After upgrading web server and remote dns servers to SP1 for Windows 2003, the DNS records are no longer created for domains added via HC.

Yes this is a known issue after Windows 2003 SP1 release. Actually in Windows 2003 SP1 Microsoft includes the new Security Configurations with Windows firewall which disturbs DCOM settings on some HC Servers. Well developers are already working on it and it will be supported very soon. Your patience would be highly appreciated in this regard. :)

DCOM issue after Windows 2003 SP1 release has been resolved. Our next coming hotfix 2.0 will do its job automatically, but for the time being you can fix it manually as well. Just open dcomcnfg and give Remote Activation control permission to the user ANONYMOUS LOGON in Launch and Activation Permissions section.
