HC7 is not supported with x64bit Windows Server

When I try to install HC7, we get the following error during installation:

Error loading iissuba.dll

But installation finished completely.

So, HC7 does not work. What is the problem? (Op: Win2003 Standard Edition 64bit)

HC7 is not supported with x64bit Windows Server. You must have to install x32bit OS on your machine.

I thought 64bit was going to be supported i did remember it being asked for.

On the note of hc i do see dll's from 2002 not quite 1999 like hc6.1 but some still very old parts to hc!

Oh well cant get that dual quad core xeon i wanted and run 64bit shame :)

In the last month, I bought a new server with Dual Quad Core, Dell genuine, and Windows 2003 64 BITS! I was shocked with the system power but when I asked to HC for compatibility *only 32 bit*. I needed reload the system with my old Windows 2003 x86 :( ...

Were you running 64 bit AMD or Intels with issues?

    AMD's have a 32 bit compatibility mode.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMD64

However as soon as I mentioned 64 bit HC assumed it was all incompatible and would not offer support.

    Thanks

Time to get up to date...

"x64 editions of Microsoft Windows client and server, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and Windows Server 2003 SP1 x64 Edition, were released in March 2005"

I thought I would change your comment to make it more appropriate for the entire HC7 release cycle.

Good thing you did that. Otherwise we all would be confused.

No only that but it needs to be multi processor aware.

Any chance that x64bit servers would be supported anytime soon? A client of mine needs it together with MS SQL 2005 which was said to run much faster under x64bit.
