asp net 2

Hi, guys

ASP Net in HC settings is set like this

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727

But new ASP Net sites are being crated ASPNET 1.4 and application por of ASP Net 2 (default app pool). How to solve?

As this is related to .net thought i would ask!

When a new website is created isn’t hc supposed to add network service account to the folder permissions. When new users try to run a website with .net they get security error as network service account does not exist!

Yes you might have added .NET mappings at the root which are being inherited for each new domain creation. Please remove .NET mappings from the root then enable .NET frame work from HC panel.

Chris we do add Network Service with 'List Folder Contents' permissions on installing .NET through hc panel.

HC your not adding network service to new domains!

On the root folder for domain storage we only allow admins and system hc then adds its own perms to subfolders.

When creating a new site i have tested 3 times hc is not adding network service perms! Now i could stand that if the end user could add the perms through acl manager but they cant :(
