Error : 70701290 : Unhandled exception.

Encounter the above error while creating a new name based domain through a reseller account. Error occured after clicking add website in step 3 of 3.


Using single HC7 with web and database server roles, IIS6.
Pls advise.

Is this problem resolved? I have the same problem.
In build 8 unable to create new domain.
reinstalled build 7 website creations works fine.

Actuall you dnt have any machine added with DNS role in the cluster thats why hc is not creating domain. This was known issue in build 8 and has been fixed in build 9 which will be available for download in the start of next week.

i cant add domain, in step three of adding a new domain i get this error:

all my servers are up and running and my dns server is running fine.

Create a website with minimum enabling services i.e don't create mail domain and Dns zone with new site creation. Step by step creation will give you idea about the problem

Edit named.conf file and it would give you exact Home Directory path for DNS zones.

thanks everyone. this turned out to be a windows issue. i had password complexity enabled in the policies:
here is what fixed it for me:
Go to Administrative Tools :: Local Security Policies ::  Account Policies :: Password Policies
There you will find 2 options Password Must Meet Complexity Requirements and Minimum Password Length.
Please  make it sure Password Must Meet Complexity Requirements is disabled and minimum password length is set to 0.
