Issues with some of the click install Apps

The following 3 Install Apps don't work for me in linux
Running mysql 5.0.22 & PHP 5.1.6

WebCalendar is the only one I am worried about right now and it works fine on my windows side with mysql 5.0.45 & PHP 5.2.4

I am going to look into the issue more when I have more time but seeing if anyone else has this problem and if you have a way to fix it

WebCalendar
Error:
Table 'boydsint_demo.webcal_config' doesn't exist
SELECT cal_value FROM webcal_config WHERE cal_setting = 'public_access'

osCommerce
Error:
(Will not go past step 2. I keep hiting next and nothing happens)

Plogger
Error:
The following errors occurred:
The path (./images) is not readable.
The path (./thumbs) is not readable.
The path (./uploads) is not readable.
The path is not writable by the Web server.
The path is not writable by the Web server.
The path is not writable by the Web server.

It seems like the compatibility issue of php with mySQL. You need to enable mySQL extensions in php.ini file and make it compatible with mySQL.
