MySQL Unable to Create DB

Hello again, I am experiencing my round with HC7 and please forgive me I have been out of hosting for a few years and am re-learning.

First off I have tried everything in the knowlege base and have opened up a support ticket but it seems they have forgotten to check it lately.

When trying to create a MySQL or MS SQL I get the "Unable to Create DB" I went through the procedures in the KB http://support.hostingcontroller.com/index.php?action=kb&article=232

When I do this it responds to query ok 0 file affected

Maybe I am not putting in the right path for it
c:\program files\mysql\mysql server 4.1\bin
Settings are:

MySQL Server Name :MySQL
MySQL IP Address :64.27.xx.xxx
MySQL Install Path :c:\program files\mysql\mysql server 4.1\binMySQL Port :3306


and for MS SQL
c:\program files\microsoft sql server\mssql.4\MSSQL

Setting are:

MS SQL Server Name :Microsof-xxxxxx
MS SQL IP Address :64.27.xx.xxx
MS SQL Install Path :c:\program files\microsoft sql server\mssql.4\MSSQL
Connectivity: Microsof-xxxxxx

I also am attempting a Linux server running centos and can't get it to work either for MySql
path is /usr/bin/mysql/

Settings Are:

MySQL Server Name :MySQL
MySQL IP Address :64.25.xx.xxx
MySQL Install Path :/usr/bin/mysql/
MySQL Port :3306

if anyone can help I sure would appreciate it greatly

Well I got the MS SQL working now, had to go to one of HC's competitors website forum for help. I guess I am on my own for mysql too.

Give grant privileges to root on " MySQL IP Address :64.27.xx.xxx ". If mysql on local machine then enter Ip 127.0.0.1 (by default root user has privileges on it)

Thanks Patrick, I am getting HC to add the mysql databases now but when I try any of the click to install apps it comes up with the error 74100020 : Unknown exception occurred while installing Helpdesk or other apps but creates the files in the special folder.

Does HC create db for click apps ? As mysql and php quota necessary in the plan

Thank you I have checked it. I have been working on trying to get into the Linux server Mysql but when it ask for password it won't let me go further. I will update when I know more.

Ok I have the Mysql working on the linux box now I have to figure out the php with mysql now.
