mailservice odd problem

We have this problem since version 20. the HCmailservice will be activate each 5 seconds, and with it, it call sqlserver, and it cause %30 CPU load for 2 seconds in a dual xeon server. I've checked it, and it doesnt even send 1 mail, just activate each 5 seconds.

It forced me to turn it off, since high cpu usage. any suggestion?

HC shouldn't consume 30% CPU resources after every few seconds, the HCmailservice do run CPU intensive tasks but it runs in controlled way, the service can be configured from My Server :: Configure Disk Usage , where HCQuotaService performs the disk and bandwidth usage calculation and HCMailService performs all the mail delivery and its related task.

unfortunately it's what i said. I monitored it many times, and found it just do nothing. no email sent or anything else... it also doesnt make any entry in debug logs. so its just starting on its own.

    any suggestion where to look?

You can remove them from My server...system emails....Unsent Emails.

Remove one by one, don't remove using ALL option as they will removed sent emails too.
