When to expect version 1? And is there a bugtracking website?

We are on the move from HELM3 the best ever hostingpanel for windows, for two resons. 1) its now helm4 and a parallels product and 2) we are doing a lot more linux hosting today and helm4 is still windows only.

To bad, as HELM4 looks like something that could have been a great replacement for a actually very, very good CP that even in HELM3, a years old CP is, we see now, really years ahead of HC version 0.8. Because it is 0.8, correct? A beta version for the upcomming version 1?

We have been using HC 0.8 for some weeks, testing it, letting two of our linux resellers run a few websites on it and the bugs and missing features and failed basic understanding of hosting shows up like a musroom forrest.

In the begining we simply reported this to support@hostingcontroller.com - but it became to many and the support started to be slow and not helpfull and at times simply just wrong. Then we thought, maybe a better exposure will help not only the development of fixes, but also others that thing its really a version 8, not a version 0.8. They might be better of waiting for version 1.

Why are we still here then? Because basicly we dont like Parallels because they just absolutly do not care about customers. And we see, that HC does. And we see that HC could be great. To become great, the errors need to be fixed of cause. And to be really great HC version 1 should look at some of the features of say HELM and start implementing what customers (not us, but our customers) are expecting of a CP today.

This brings me to two issues that we are interested in and our customers are interested in.

Where is the release plan. A plan/roadmap of what will be in the next few builds. What HC is fixing and what features are consided or even accepted for inclusing on future builds and releases? Where is the bugtracker where we can see that the bugs we report are collected, taken seriously and reported "in progress", "fixed in build XX" and so on and so on?

let me repeat this one and highligt something impotant: Why are we still here then? Because basicly we dont like Parallels because they just absolutly do not care about customers and we see, that HC does. And we see that HC could be great. To become great, the errors need to be fixed of cause. And to be really great HC version 1 should look at some of the features of say HELM and start implementing what customers (not us, but our customers) are expecting of a CP today.
