Linux vsftp users can browse from / down...
Hi.
I just configured a new user's site on Linux (CentOS/vsftp) with HC8. When the user logs into FTP using Internet Explorer, they end up in the root directory of the server. They can browse into many directories that should not be accessible. The user can see the names and directories of other customers, or even grab the config files under /etc. The users need to be chrooted their webspace directory. I know there's a way to do this with vsftp, but I am not sure how to configure it to use the proprietary directory structure that HC8 implements.
Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there a work-around?
Thanks
Joe
