Bind these IP in the server network setting, if server in data center then you can request the server provider to add following IPs for you. Once they added in server then HC will automatically pick IPs and display in panel. Which you can use for name base or IP base domains.

If you are using your own dns server and configured in the machine, then create ns1 & ns2 at godaddy interface and give your dns server IP. This will route all request to your dns server.

When you create a account then try to ftp the domain i.e ftp://domain.com , and also try the webmail link to access the mail account.

so it would just be the A record that i would need to change and point it to my IP address?

Consider you have parent domain MynameServer.com and you want to create ns1.Mynameserver.com & Ns2.Mynameserver.com.
Login in the godaddy interface and register these 2 name server ns1.Mynameserver.com & ns1.Mynameserver.com with IP address pointing to your Dns server IP.
In final step open the dns zone for domain Mynameserver.com and add host A record for ns1 and ns2.
This way you can propagate name base domain with your ns1 and ns2 entry in their zone file.

zone file would be located in /var/cache/named or /var/named/chroot/var/named , verify the storage location in named.conf or name.conf.local file and then you can bind the name server entry in the specific zone file.

    Followed the link:

    1. Login to your Misk control panel.
    2. Click on the Domain Management option.
    3. Select the domain name you would like to update.
    4. Click on the Update Nameservers for your domain icon.
    5. Replace the nameservers currently listed with those provided to you by your web hosting company.
    6. Click Save Config.

Except there is no 'Update Nameservers' icon there!
