Activate License buttons greyed out?!

Hi folks, my first post.. wee.. humm
 
I had a messed up windows HC8, I managed to get it up again with sqlexpress and PHP
The original "host" user was deleted, not from HC but from windows user accounts. I created the user again, added it to usergroup "HCGroup" and used the ResetHostPassword.exe successfully. Now i'm able to log in. But of course I get DEMO EXPIRED
I have the license key, but the Activate License button is "disabled", its gray. Any ideas?
