Running SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 in the same server

Hello,

I would like to know if we can install MS SQL 2000 and MS SQL 2005 in the same server and use it with HC. I know that we can run both the versions in the same server, however, I would like to know if we install both the versions, do we get an option to select the MS SQL version to use while creating a database. If this is not possible, then I would urge HC to consider implementing it.

Wouldn't it be the good option to use Sql 2005 & MSDE in a same machine instead of sql 2000. After all MSDE has complete database engine features except Front hand interface (Enterprise manager). From this way we can save some system memory.
