Templates - suggestion

How about spliting e-mail templates to; header, body and footer? This way we would not have to change header and footer for every change of address and contact info.
Yes, I am aware there are some custom fields, but sometimes this is just not enough...

Can you please explain your query a bit more? There are already sufficient options provided to customize email templates.

I agree that e-mail templates are fully customizable now. What I suggest is this; separate e-mail “header” where information like Company logo etc. could be placed, separate “footer” which will contain, for example, signature and contact information, and “body” which will be mostly what it is now – containing all relevant information regarding type of e-mail template.
“Header” and “Footer” will be stored separately in db and should be shared by all e-mail templates.
Why this? Well, it is not complicated to perform and by this enhancement all changes in header and footer can be made at once and in one place.
Not a critical issue, but very useful.
