CLOUD

Hello, everyone

Is anyone using HC Windows with some cloud/VPS based solution that auto fail overs sites, if machine is somehow unavailable, to another server? Please send details?

Thank you.

We have few servers on Hyper-V but they are not in fail over/redundancy. If you setup cloud servers then we would be glad to hear about its performance.

Its never gonna happen unless HC starts supporting Application Request Routing in IIS.

Hi,

HC can you pls reply what Renhack wrote?

I dont understand, theres no cases of customers using HC in a cloud cenario? I know HC has done webinars on Cloud, so Id imagine theres at least some case?

Is there someone out there using centralized storage (SAN) which HC + XenServer?

Thanks,
Flavio

We run everything in vmware vsphere with san storage. We're just starting to launch secondary services like DNS and backup MX into Amazon.

Thanks for reply, Renhack. Good to know there are people using centralized storage.

DNS on Amazon, how would HC control it?

What you said before about never being able to have real redundancy, can you pls detail? HC does fail over just based on load, correct? with vsphere however you can easily live fail over to other box, correct?

Thanks again.
