AD Sync Enabled Organizations

Hello,
 
I want to inquire something about the AD Sync enabled organizations. In case, I have enabled AD Sync on some of my organizations in Hosting Controller Panel and as per the settings of Hosting Controller I am not able to change the General Properties of mailboxes.
 
Now I am looking for the solutions, how can I update the general properties of the mailboxes without disabling the AD Sync.
