The feature of Import and Export .PST files works great! just want to check if it is possible to change the temp directory location to somewhere else where thes files can be stored?

The Temp folder path cannot be modified. However, in HC panel Under PST Exchange Configurations we have now added 2 additional settings namely "Delete PST File After" and "Delete After Download" , which will retain the consumption of disk space by the PST files in proportion as the files will be automatically deleted due to these 2 settings. So, this will suffice your need.
