Hi,
I am not talking about the backups?
I am talking about when you use the control panel to create a new database, it stores the files in the wrong place?
When we setup SQL2000 we tell it to store all databases in the E:\sqldbstore\MSSQL\Data which is the storage array attached to the server. Most large SQL servers do not store the database files in the default C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data it is stored in some storage device. HC is not getting the path from registry or SQL.
@ CHRIS
Yes that would be a good idea!
In fact the backups are not working either, but that is not major for uas at this point.
@ HC
Yes we are on build 7
