Linux installation error

I am trying to install HC7 on a CentOS 5 server.

When I am running the installer it give me an error after I have given all controlpanel database connection details.

The error is "Segmentation fault". Do anyone know what I do wrong?

Is it better to run on Fedora Cora? If so, is it possible to run on FC version 8?

I am running CentOS 5 too with HC7 linux and it's working fine.
Are you installing the newest build?
Have you set all the server changes on the Main windows HC

Yes I am logged in as root.

I did the download from http://www.centos.org/ yesterday, so I think it is the newest build.

I have not added linux support under generel settings in HC, do I need to do this before installation on CentOS?

Do I have to select some specific components under CentOS installation or will a plain "server" installation be fine?

Log in as hcadmin
Go to Server Manager
then
Global Settings
fill out your linux settings then add your server
Windows side has to be fully setup with gobal commands before linux HC will work

Default settings from CentOS 5 will work

I still get this error but if I first run the installer and write the details and get the "Segmentation fault". I run the installer again, this time i skip registration and it complete perfect.

I am running with MySQL on Linux now. Thats perfect.

When I am adding a website I get this error:

Error : 73500250 : There is no active gateway available.

Does anyone know what I did wrong? Is it something with my Apache?

Yea I always skip the registration

Is your httpd service running?

Yes it is running.

If I go to http://linux-server-ip it give me default Apache html page. So something is working.

during the install when it asked where are storing websites did you choose default or somewhere else?
I used /var/www/html

Also make sure
Server Manager :: My Servers :: Edit Server :: Web Server
For web root path has the same patch you gave during install

I did use the default /websites both in Linux installer and in Generel settings.

Hmm wierd. I miss a log file where I can track the error

Developers are working on this issue and it will be fixed in upcoming build 9 of linux.
