ZenCart in Click and Install Errors!!!

When a user tries to install ZenCart (yes I know it's an insecure version, I just wanted to see if it would work to see if I could upgrade it) I get the following error when it tries to access the cart on the target website:

IISPassword for Internet Information Services
HC Note: This is due to the fact that we are using IISPassword and the fact that you have left the .htaccess files in the zencart folder. Did you even test this???

So I fixed this by manually renaming the .htaccess files to x.htaccess on the target server. I then decided to try and access the cart, so I hit refresh and then saw:
Error encountered while writing /includes/configure.php more info...
------ Summary -----
This is not what I would expect from a "Click and Install" application at all!
Once again, did you even test this?
