Awstats skipping days

Awstats will skip random days where there should be stats (Maybe 1 or 2 times a month)

On the days it skips stats the server was never down and there are stats for awstats to get.
Anyone else having this problem.
How do I force the stats back in?

This is just a educated guess but it could be because I get the following error all the time:

A process serving application pool 'HC7AppPool' terminated unexpectedly. The process id was '5228'. The process exit code was '0xc0000005'.

    you can set awstats to update once every 3 hours , that will fix the problem, but will make another problem , that you will lose the last 3 hours of each day

    Stats will not be lost for the last three hours as we calculate the stats before 12.00 O'clock to avoid loosing the stats of previous day.

    That mean we must update all the stats at 11:59 PM each day
    there is another solution
    I had manually edited the files C:\Program Files\Advanced Communications\Hosting Controller 7C\Awstats\Awstats.sitename.com.conf
    and changed the 1st line to
    LogFile="c:\webspace\ResellerName\UserName\SiteName.com\log\W3SVC???\ex%YY%MM%DD-3.log"
    that mean that if hc updates the stats any time before 3am it will update the previous day and after 3am it will update the new day
    that mean we will not lose anything at all
    the problem is that we must edit that manually

    You can set 'AwStats update interval' as 3 hours at Server Manager--->Edit Server in hc panel.

    i had the same issue. so many of our clients were complaining about losing stats we had to move to another stats system. we couldnt get any support from hc on it. they said tis free and thats what we get. we use smarterstas now and have no issues.
