gen6 ftp wont allow logins

i created the user account from the webadmin account. it creates the account in gen6 but i get an error that the directory doesn't exist or i don't have access.
If i go to the gen6 admin, I see the root directory is blank for the account. If i add the / in gen6 then it works. But I can't find how to do that in the HC, and i'd rather not have to field emails everytime someome creates an account.

also if i try to add directories to an account created by a webadmin it says user account doesn't exist or access not allowed.

any ideas?

Its a bug and will be fixed in upcoming build 16 which is expected by the end of this month.

this is still going on with your new build. Its a slightly different issue, but the outcome is the same. I have to manually intervene and modify the ftp user account before it works.
This is very frustrating.

Can you please contact hc support by email with your panel and server access so we could check this issue in detail?
