HC7 to HC8 upgrade

I think its time for me to upgrade  hc7 server into hc8. 

How exactly to do this upgrade or should I let HC  member to do this task ?

    How to upgrade from HC7 to HC8
     
    If HC7 is running under license mode then first upgrade the key using below link
    Upgrade key : http://www.hostingcontroller.com/english/buyonline/upgrade-HC-version.html
     
    Process Detail
     
    1= Download HC8 http://hostingcontroller.com/english/ddirect.html
    2= Run HC installer
    3= Chose Modify option
    4= Insert HC8 upgrade key
    5= Installer will automatically upgrade HC7 data into HC8
    6= Same process will require to do on all HC machines.
     
    Note: You must run first upgrade on HC database server machine.

    I have upgraded from v7 to v8 without any issue on the upgrade.

    Is this work with HC6.1 users ?

    I contacted the support team and they told that the upgrade from HC6 to HC8 is same as that from HC6 to HC7. So, this article could help you in upgrading from HC6.1 to HC8:

    Yes this is correct same article will help to upgrade hc6.1 in hc7 or hc8
