CGI timeout while updating Stats

Hi All
 
I have HC7 with build 20, win2k3 on a 64bit installation. Perl is installed and enabled in HC. I'm getting CGI timeout when updating stats. The perday log file is between 3-5MB.
Hosting controller tech support doubts the PHP (3rd party tool) reasoning when PHP itself is not enabled on the server
 
Any help and questions most welcome

Hi All

Well I figured it out that setting a scheduled task was the best way possible ( not suggested on a loaded server)  run every 15 mins.

Now the stats are all OK and updated. I've disabled the update now link
