One of my friend told me that hostingcontroller support segregation feature in Exchange 2010. Is it true? and if I have 2 HUB and 2 MBX so do I need to install hosting controller on every server?

Yes James it supports both segregation in Exchange 2k7 and 2k10. And you only need to install Hosting Controller on your HUB machine in order to control all the roles(HUB,CAS,MBX) and not on all of them.

okay and what if I have 2 HUB machines. Do I have to install HC on all HUB machines or only on primary HUB machine.

You can install HC on any of the HUB machines and it would work.
