Creating a SmarterMail account from HC

Hi,

Please explain the following:

When we create a NEW resadmin, and allow that resadmin to create 3 domains with 3 stats and 3 mail,
The ONLY way for that resadmin to create a MAIL domain is if WE provide the MAIL password from the “Settings” icon on the server.


This is a huge security risk


We cannot allow the “Settings” password to be used by the resadmin


How can we resolve this issue.

No need to give admin password to your customers in any case. They should use their respective email address and password for login which they given at the time of mail domain creation. For Stats, webadmin can use his user name and password ¬ default ¬ for login. Later he can change his password from Smarter Stats Administration interface.

Can you please provide the steps required for a resadmin to create an email domain using the SmarterMail system.

There are two ways to create Mail Domain through HC panel:

1- Domains---->Add Site--->( Enable Mail Access ) [ Create Domain & Mail Domain simultaneously ]
2- Tools---->Mail Manager--->Add Mail Domain [ Create Mail Domain for existing Domain ]

It¬s frustrating enough to learn a new product, BUT it¬s even harder when you can¬t get the right answers.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CREATE A NEW DOMAIN WITH AN EMAIL ACCOUNT WITHOUT THE SMARTERMAIL ADMIN PASSWORD, YES/NO

No.

You can not create mail domain by using email account. Your customers have to create mail domains from HC panel. Please come to our live chat for further discussion.
