SQL Recovery Method Default to Simple?

Is there a way to tell HC to create ¬Simple¬ Recovery method databases by default in SQL instead of ¬Full¬? When HC 6.1 is configured for a Remote SQL 2005 Server the databases are created as FULL by default. Any workaround either on the HC side or the SQL side?

We do not set the recovery model through our code, its set by MSSQL as default. If the new version has changed the default value of recovery option from Simple to Full, we¬ll provide a fix in coming hotfix accordingly. Anyway we are testing it.

I contacted Microsoft and the fix is to change the Recovery Method of the System Database ¬MODEL¬ to Simple. Then any new databases will default to Simple Recovery Method.

You are right usually the new databases inherit their properties from this database.
