Edit Autosignup

Has anyone tried to edit autosignup templates, great compared to 6.1

But when you edit the license page it messes up, i changed a bit of css at the top now it doesnt display the license text, looking at the code its somehow messed up during save or something like that, hc i think you need to look into it as its happened with hcadmin and two test resellers.

I've also tried editing on hc7reseller demo account on hc site does exactly the same you dont even have to edit anything just click edit then save then doh its messed up :)

Edit....
After further testing i have also found the below issues

If reseller hasnt set custom name servers no name servers are shown on domaininformation page where you enter your domain name

When entering a domain and clicking create i keep getting "please enter a valid extension with domain" error, javascript error?

I now can't get any further than the above error

I have a concern also regarding third level domain, hc puts in the domain you have used to access the autosignup so in my case www.dcontrol.net:8787

So when i selected third level domain i got domain.www.dcontrol.net this to me isnt right and could be a security risk and quite a big one at that, i would recomend hc allow resellers to specify a domain within hc to use for third level domain purposes

I have just checked and did not find any problem. Can you please explain the exact scenairo to replicate it.

Not replicated. In case Reseller has not set custom name servers then I can see his Host’s NS info. on above mentioned page. I have tested it on HC7 online DEMO and local as well. Please recheck it.

When entering a domain and clicking create i keep getting "please enter a valid extension with domain" error, javascript error?

Not replicated.

Okay, we will provide an option to handle this case.

Please make sure you have latest HC7 installer running on your machine.

Right regarding autosignup

Login to hc demo as hc7reseller
Go to my server
Customize Templates
Select License Information click edit template
Dont change anything click save template
Click autosignup menu button
Click launch autosignup
Select a plan click next
Now do you see license text em no as its broke :)

Look at this section of code from the template edit
!--LICENSE_TEXT-- it should have <> around it

------------------------------------

Regarding ns did you login as reseller and go my server, dns settings untick custom name server?

I cant replicate it in hcdemo due to license error above

You know 'hc7reseller's templates are publically available on online demo. It might be possible someone has updated their code through HC panel thats why you are getting problem in autosignup. We have tested it for another reseller and it is working fine the way it should be.

Regarding Reseller's NS information in 'domaininformation' page will be fixed in upcoming installer which is due in couple of days.

I dont think you have tested it as i stated or you have a different build, email me the second reseller account details and i will see if it does the same.

Make sure you edit the license page and maybe remove the background from the css for the header or something like that.

We have just updated CSS and reset background value and its working fine. If you set any wrong value then offcourse CSS will not work. Please locally check with your HC7 panel and then let us know if you find any problem.

Hi HCSUPPORT,
I am also having same problem with the broken Autosignup license key page, reported in this thread by Chris from DHosting. When i make any change on this page I get a broken script and autosignup fails including the empty license file.
1. I am using build 7.00.0002 and need to know if this was resolved in build 4 or later?
2. If Yes, then do I need to re-register my trial since this is my first week of trialing HC7? Is there any other easier way to get later versions?
3. Also there is an issue with PayPay Gateway as currently it redirects to sandbox.paypal.com and this is for developer access only?
Other then this, HC7 is excellent, keep up the good work!

LOL trust me its still not working in 4

HC didnt take any notice of the paypal or edit signup issues.
The signup mess effects multiple pages not just the license page :)

But there we go nothing unusual ignored as always :)

@danmandich

Please update your build to latest 7.00.0004 from this URL and if you get same problem please contact support dept. with HC panel access. They will check it for you.

Regarding paypal, you have to update Gateway URL : from sanbox to Live Mode URL at this path Billing System--->Integrate / Edit Payment Gateways--->Edit Gateway of hcadmin level.
