Custom Subdomain Signups

We have just purchased HC to provide our students with free web hosting internally for their learning.

We would ideally like to them to be able to signup themselves, payment is not required.

How easy would it be to create a template that would have a preset hosting plan, allow them to choose a subdomain of our current domain, enter personal details and password.

Thats all we need.

Any help greatly appreciated...

Not to worry, have managed to edit the signup pages so the payment page looks like a details confirmation page. :)

First you have to create a plan with zero Domain Quota and set some quota for other resources like subdomain in plan. Later you can enable this plan to display at the time of signup by using this option "Autosignup--->Set Auto Sign-up Enabled Plans" of hc panel. Whatever domain name ( http://domain.com/admin ) you have used to generate autosignup URL e.g http://domain.com/admin/hosting/default.asp?AutoHost=resadmin, HC will use it as parent domain for subdomain signup.
