Invalid Username or Password.

i just installed HC7 and i cant login as host admin i copy-pase the password also write it by hand its not working also try to change the password from my computer->manage-> users-> set password but again it doesn't work! :( can someone tell me what is the problem?

    Are you using MSDE as HC Database? Please make sure HC7 db was created and MSDE service is running. I will also recommend you to consult with this article

    well there is one database in the folder C:\Program Files\Advanced Communications\Hosting Controller 7C\Database named HC7.bak and its 8 450 kb in servers i see MSSQL$HC

    also im installing HC7 on a local machine and trying to access it locally, should i re-install it? but i did and its the same error

    in the folder services there is one file call CAO.config

    can u please explene me for a newbie :)

    look what type of error it gives me when trying to connect to the db:

    Microsoft SQL Server Login

    Connection failed:
    SQLState: '28000'
    SQL Server Error: 18456
    [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'hc7dbadmin'.
