Bad news now I have to check the sites I made with a Paypal payment gateway. Did not know they changed there interface, this can couse many site going in error.

Hi,
When I have on site with Disk Space Overusing, the prompt message DOESN'T DESAPPEAR WHEN I SOLD MORE DISK SPACE, Its a serious bug.

At this moment since yesterday I add more resources, BUT the alert message donest remove.

You can see this: domain.com 11 GB 3.76 GB 7.24 GB (its left space) I had add 10 GB in disk space but the warning message that said "Warning: You are overisung diskspace or bandwidth" donesnt desappear..

BUG = HC doesnt remove HC Isapi from IIS when the resource is ok or normal.

Hello crnunez,

We have found the reason for the display of the overquota messagebox in the websites which are using excess disk space or bandwidth. HC7 adds an ISAPI filter in the websites using excess disk space or bandwidth and even after upgrading the webspace or bandwidth limit, the ISAPI filter does not get removed from the website thus causing the messagebox to be displayed. You can simply remove it from the website. We are, however, not sure what problem may occur if we remove the ISAPI filter, but it certainly does the trick. I hope HC confirms if it causes any problem or not and the solution should be given by HC. I don't think that modifying the code is such a big task to take so long. We hope HC to fix it soon.

Not seen that before, when we apply perms through acl it doesnt actually apply them, well it does to the first level of a folder but nothing below it! So ACL at the min for us is a bit duff, could be another migration issue.

It would be nice to see NETWORK SERVICE AND ASPNET Account back in ACL for dotnetnuke purposes!

I can detect that Control Panel donest read any perms from any reseller or website.

NUll Perms appear on:

BUG: ACL doesnt show current perms (real-time) in Control Panel. Other Migration Issue?? from my HHD I can see all the perms BUT HC7 cannt see any perms from migrated websites.

Say i look at a hosting plan i give the plan 20 mailboxes per domain, but i dont want to give 20x unlimited mail boxes i want to give say 500mb disk space per mail box.

Bandwidth and disk stats help with the above disk stats show who's using what disk space and bandwidth shows if someones sending windows xp ISO's over their mail account.

Disk and bandwidth quota for mail shouldnt be included within the main disk and bandwidth allowance for the user.

Also most mail servers arent to badly priced until you hit antispam and antivirus enabled accounts. Merak for example costs a lot of money for the antispam.

So i suggest maybe have a mail plan of some sort, like hosting plans, so in each hosting plan you would have a mail plan which would state how many accounts have antispam enabled, how many would have groupware access. I know it sounds like i've focused on merak but smartermail has similar enable and disable options and so do other mail servers.

It might not be possible to do the above but the disk and bandwidth is defo possible!


Something else i want to see from hc is disk space quota for databases. A 1Gb mssql db is very large and would cause some performance issues. So at the min the user has an unlimited DB which isn't good. Same for mysql really!

I like control and stats, i live for stats, stats tell you if something is happening. If our mail server stats show a high rise in mail classed as spam its usually 1. SPAM Attack, 2. Mail server has a config problem!

Hello,

There is one feature request which will be very useful if implemented in HC7. Currently we don't have the option to modify the properties of the home directory of a website. For example, if we want to allow directory browsing for a website, then there is no option to do so. Many of the customers need this feature for their websites. If we want to enable Directory Browsing, we have to do it from the server. The option of Directory Browsing is already there in the Virtual Directories section. Hence, I don't think its implementation should be a problem. Let me know when can it be implemented.

Nitesh - look under Permissions in domain section

HC - we are noticing awstats takes agaes to load i believe the reason for this is it loads the hc7 app pool which i guess loads hc panel. If i'm correct in my assumption could you guys look into using a sep app pool for the /stats virtual directory. That way we arent wasting ram and cpu. If i'm wrong and hc doesnt load the full app pool when awstats is loaded please correct me. If thats the case something else is slowing it down!

"Exception occured while composing template."

Change autosignup - billing
Change anything on this page when user gets to the page all the drop downs dont work, hc doesnt use the payment method it should.

Now the billing page fault was reported in like build 2-3 by me.

Can anyone else see this fault?

Login as resadmin and go to add-ons and set the webadmin price for the add-on you get
"Error : 70102040 : You do not have enough rights to perform this operation."
