We have investigated this issue in detail and found that HC upgrade utility can not delete your mail domains. FYI HC sends request to Smarter Mail API to perform certain operations. It might be possible there were some problem with Smarter Mail configuration file i.e DomainList.xml on your server that updated path info. was not written in it which was the main reason of your mail server crash.

You believe me or not but its true there are lot of customers who have successfully upgraded their mail domains in Smarter Mail using HC upgraded utility. This looks like a server specific issue. Moreover, you have not informed us about DNS issue earlier infact in your mentioned case HC has nothing to do with your DNS Server.

HC Support has manually restored your mail data on high priority and they already informed you that we will apply Build 10 on your machine but they should have informed you before running build 10 installer.

I can understand the pain you gone through but I must assure you that HC support always try their best to help customers and resolve their problems with intensive care.

Correct hc but you didn’t, you haven't done with us in the past and other users who i have communicated with say the same.

We are web host’s that’s what we do and we have to do it well :)
