Cost for upgrade

I thought the upgrade was free for version 6 latest build users? Was that for a limited time? I wanted to wait till it was stable enough. I am way bout paying for upgrades since I paid for an upgrade $99 before that they ended up giving away for free and they didnt as much apologizing for doing so. Seems like a bad business practice to me.

It was free for some HC 6 bought from a certain period. Those bought earlier than that period had to pay.
