Formmail generator - any good solution?

Dear friends,
 
Were looking for some formmail alternative for our customers. Would be nice some generator which Ive seen some panels install, I think HC does not have that, perhaps a suggestion.
 
We have ASPEMAIL, etc. but its a bit too hard for some users. We have Matt's Formmail.pl and it's nice, only thing is, under IIS7 + Perl for some reason we had problems of variables getting mixed up by PERL and result was form results getting mixed up... So we installed it under Linux, only this is we have to free up each domain that wants to use it in the Referers part, which is time consuming.
 
I saw another one which is really interesting, PHPformgenerator: http://phpformgen.sourceforge.net/phpform
 
Its nice, one can build a form easily via web. The problem is, it generates such forms so user can download them and poses a security risk, as anyone can use the generator and create forms to send spam.
 
Any ideas how to make it secure without requiring too much work?
 
Any other alternatives you guys have been using?

FTP for subdomains

Hi,
 
Perhaps, since now its 1 FTP site per domain, when creating a subdomain, HC should offer to create FTP automatically, no?

Your opinion on user impersonation in HC

Dear friends,
 
Id like your opinion on this topic, please. Its not a big deal, but I found that when you impersonate some webadmin while logged as resadmin, for example, if you do it more then once (for 2 different web admins), due to browser behaviour cookies, etc. HC gets confused, lets say. I reply a ticket as resadmin and it shows "reply by user xxx", one of the users I impersonated logged as resadmin.
 
I dont believe in this case it sends email to the wrong user, etc. However, its a bit troublesome, I have to inform all my colleagues here at work "do never impersonate a user twice, first close browser, reopen" or "in that case use 2 browsers".
 
HC sees it as a browser issue, I can understand... Anyways, my idea is...
 
To create some type of way to send a ticket "on behalf" of user via resadmin. We wouldnt have to log as the user and put the ticket as the user (which is kind of incorrect, specially because it shows Last reply by USER when actually it was resadmin opening a ticket in the user's login).
 
It would solve the browser issue and also give us something better...

Under construction page now has way too much HC propaganda. What do you think?

I was commenting with HC support before posting to forum, but I didn't succeed. With all respect, the new under construction page/template that HC comes with is, IMHO, exagerating a little bit in terms of propaganda.

I know I can change the template, but more work for us and it gets overwritten upon upgrades.
 
Really, IMHO the goal with an under construction page is to promote the user's website, not HC :) HC should have some small powered by HC notice (as was before), not a page that dedicates more space to HC then the site itself :)

Reseller's Webadmin CP Accounts

Hello,
 
Is there a way to set a quota for how many webadmin control panel accounts a reseller gets?  I thought this was set by the User Accounts quota before, but now that has changed to FTP Users.  So now there is no way to limit how many end-user panels a reseller can sell?

Feature request: Export plans in HC...

Hi, everyone

I think it would be really nice if it was possible to export plans from one HC into another. We have 2 HC's. 1 of the HC's has dozens of plans created perfectly. But I have to recreate them all by hand in our other HC panel.
Also mass changes to plans would be a dream. example: enable mysql on all plans... without having to use queries.
 
What do you think?

Simple FR for ticketing system...

My colleague commented something interesting. Why doesnt HC show, by default, the open tickets?
 
You log to resadmin, then you have to click on status column to show the opened tickets.

Perhaps it could already show by default the open tickets.
